1) Put a non AT&T or Cingular SIM in the phone;
2) The phone display: Invalid Smart Chip
3) Power on handset
4) Select ?Cancel? ? phone displays ?phone restriction code?
5) Enter the unlock code (8 digit code*)
6) Select ?OK?? ? the handset is successfully unlocked
